We're looking for a passionate and proactive Academic o join a forward-thinking secondary school. Whether you join on a term-time or full-year basis, your role will be central to shaping the wellbeing, behaviour, and progress of pupils.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a PAL, you’ll be that consistent, steady presence students need. Your day-to-day will include:
Leading on pupil behaviour, wellbeing and academic support
Collaborating with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure every student is safe, seen, and supported
Promoting positive behaviour and helping young people build self-belief and independence
Working closely with the Assistant Head for Inclusion to deliver holistic student support
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have experience in pastoral, learning, or wellbeing support
Know how to build trust with young people, staff, and families
Have a confident, calm presence and excellent communication skills
Want to work in a setting that values development—for students and staff
