Contract and Pay
Full Time
Paid to scale (M1 – M6) through PAYE
The Role
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver engaging lessons that follow a broad and balanced curriculum
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback
- Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the English department to support curriculum development
- Build strong relationships with students, staff and families
This role is about more than delivering content. It’s about fostering a love of reading, encouraging critical thinking, and giving students the confidence to express themselves.
