Protocol Education is seeking a passionate SEN HLTA to work within a welcoming KS2 setting in Ferryhill. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, helping them re-engage with learning and build positive futures.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading small group and 1:1 interventions
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence
- Creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
What we’re looking for:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour
- Experience working with SEMH needs (essential)
- A calm, consistent and positive approach
