Year 5 is a pivotal stage in a child's education, where pupils are encouraged to become more independent, resilient and confident learners. We are looking for a teacher who can create engaging lessons, maintain high expectations and inspire children to achieve their full potential.
The role:
• Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
• Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Preparing pupils for the academic challenges of Year 6
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff
• Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Has strong curriculum knowledge and high expectations for achievement
• Can motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
