Protocol Education is supporting a well-regarded, independent secondary school in the recruitment of a permanent Science Technician to join their friendly and supportive Science department. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality practical science in a top performing independent school.
๐งช The Role
You will:
โ Prepare chemicals, materials and equipment for practical lessons
โ Ensure resources are cleaned, organised and safely stored
โ Support teaching staff during practical sessions and demonstrations
โ Maintain and check laboratory equipment, reporting faults where needed
โ Dispose of waste materials safely and correctly
โ Uphold rigorous health and safety standards
โ Provide occasional wider school support, including during exam periods or First Aid cover
Your organisation and attention to detail will directly support safe, engaging learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
