About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both academically and socially. Working closely with teachers, you'll help create a positive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Duties may include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Working with individual pupils and small intervention groups
- Assisting children with additional learning needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil participation
- Supporting classroom routines and preparing learning resources
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- Be positive, proactive and eager to learn
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
