Position: Year 1 Class Teacher

Salary: Day rate per day dependant on experience (PAYE – no umbrella companies)
Protocol Education is delighted to support a highly respected three-form entry primary school in Enfield with the appointment of a dedicated Year 1 teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Plan and assess in line with EYFS transition and Year 1 curriculum expectations
- Support pupils' academic and personal development during their crucial transition year
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and promote a unified approach
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in EYFS and/or KS1
- Strong understanding of early learning goals and phonics teaching
- A nurturing and patient approach, with high expectations for all learners
- The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
- A reflective, forward-thinking mindset focused on continual improvement
