Protocol Education is working with welcoming and supportive schools across the Middlesbrough area, looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their teams immediately.

Not every child learns the same way — and that’s where you come in.
Whether you’re helping a pupil grasp a tricky concept, boosting confidence, or simply being a consistent presence in their day, your support matters more than you might think.
What your day could look like:
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities
- Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils
- Helping to keep students engaged, focused, and motivated
- Assisting with classroom management and organisation
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children (school-based or similar)
- Is proactive, reliable, and ready to get stuck in
- Communicates well with both pupils and staff
- Brings a positive attitude and lots of patience
- Is adaptable — no two days are ever the same!
