Do you understand that successful SEND support isn't about getting every child to learn in the same way?
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support a neurodivergent pupil with an EHCP, helping them access learning while developing confidence, emotional regulation and independence.
You’ll work closely with teaching and SEND staff to provide consistent, individualised support throughout the school day.
We are particularly interested in candidates with knowledge or experience of:
- Autism and neurodivergence
- EHCP support
- Emotional regulation
- SEMH
- Positive behaviour strategies
- Building independence
- Adapting classroom learning
You’ll need to be observant enough to recognise what a child needs, patient enough to give them time and confident enough to adapt your approach when something isn’t working.
Full-time, term-time opportunity with a contract running until August 2027.
