We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Downend looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 team from September.

The role
As the Year 5 Teacher, you’ll:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupils as they prepare for the transition into upper Key Stage 2
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching to support all learners
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents
- Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in learning

We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within KS2
- Delivers engaging and well-structured lessons
- Builds strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Has effective classroom management skills
- Is committed to supporting every child’s progress and wellbeing
