Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

£95 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering educational activities
• Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Providing support for students with special educational needs
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
• Supporting the planning and preparation of teaching materials
• Providing one-to-one support for students as required

Required Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS check
• First Aid certification (desirable)

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of the national curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma
• Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

• Work in a classroom setting under the direction of the class teacher
• Full-Time hours with occasional overtime required
• May involve working with students with challenging behaviour
