Protocol Education is working with a calm and friendly primary school in BS31 to recruit a reliable HLTA for a permanent role until July, starting as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting learning across the school, helping teachers and pupils’ day to day, and being part of a welcoming school community. You’ll be working with pupils across KS1 and KS2, providing support in the classroom, leading small groups, and helping children stay engaged and confident in their learning.

You Will Be:

  •      Experienced HLTA or teaching support professional, happy to support classes across KS1 and KS2
  •      Confident running small groups and supporting lessons in the classroom
  •      Patient, calm, and approachable with both pupils and staff
  •      Flexible and adaptable, ready to step in where needed and make things run smoothly
  •      Enjoys building positive relationships and helping children feel confident and engaged

What We Need to Get You Cleared:

  •      Passport
  •      2 proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45/60)
  •      CV covering 10 years of all work or education, with gaps accounted for
  •      2 years of references (including childcare - if applicable)
  •      OSPC if you lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years
