Some children need a little extra support to feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
That’s where you come in.
Protocol Education are working with a welcoming school in BS13 who are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them end of March. This role is all about consistency, calm energy and building positive relationships with pupils who may need a bit more understanding and structure in their day.

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
-
Helping children regulate emotions and return to learning
-
Using de-escalation strategies in a calm and confident way
-
Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and pastoral staff
-

-
Has experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
-
Is calm under pressure and naturally empathetic
-
Can set clear boundaries while building strong relationships
-
Is reliable, proactive and a team player
-
Believes every child deserves a fresh start
Experience with ADHD, ASD or trauma-informed practice would be a real bonus, but not essential.
Why work with Protocol Education?
-
Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
-
Free CPD, including Thrive training
-
Flexible opportunities across Bristol
-
A team who genuinely care about your development
- Weeky pay, (£14.30 - £15) per hour
