Little learners need big role models.
Protocol Education are working with a nurturing, well-established nursery in BS8 who are looking for a confident and caring Room Leader to join them after half term.
This isn’t just about overseeing a room. It’s about creating a safe, inspiring environment where children feel secure enough to explore, question and grow. You’ll lead by example, support your team and ensure every child in your care gets the very best start.
If you’re passionate about early years and ready to take the next step in your career, this could be your perfect move.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Leading a nursery room and supporting a small team of practitioners
-
Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS
-
Monitoring children’s progress and supporting next steps in development
-
Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
-
Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met
-
Creating a calm, organised and stimulating environment
You’ll set the tone for the room, modelling best practice and creating a space where both children and staff thrive.
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
-
Has experience working within a nursery or early years setting
-
Is confident leading a team and supporting colleagues’ development
-
Has strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
-
Communicates clearly and warmly with children, parents and staff
-
Is organised, proactive and genuinely passionate about early childhood development
A good sense of humour and a love of messy play definitely help too.
Why work with Protocol Education?
