SEN Support – Mainstream Primary School

Protocol Education are working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Chelmsford who are seeking a dedicated SEN Support professional for a long‑term role starting in September.
This position involves supporting pupils with additional needs within a mainstream classroom setting, working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to help pupils access learning and reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small‑group SEN support
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties
- Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
- Be patient, caring and proactive
- Have a good understanding of inclusion and behaviour support strategies
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Hold relevant SEN or education experience (qualifications desirable but not essential)
