We’re working with fantastic SEND schools in Bath and Northeast somerst looking for a compassionate and confident SEND Teacher to join their team. This is a role for someone who sees potential everywhere, even on the tough days, and knows how to bring calm, structure, and encouragement into the classroom.
Whether your experience is in autism, SEMH, or complex needs, you’ll have the space here to teach in a way that works, for you and your pupils.
What your days might look like:
Teaching pupils with a range of additional needs, adapting lessons so everyone can access learning
Creating personalised, creative approaches that engage your class
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to keep things moving forward
Bringing patience, positivity, and consistency, even when things feel a bit unpredictable
We’d love to hear from you if:
You hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
You’ve worked in a SEND or alternative provision setting before
You’re calm, flexible, and don’t shy away from a challenge
You’re a team player who communicates clearly and builds strong relationships
