What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
- Inspiring a love for reading, writing and critical thinking
- Creating a positive, well-managed classroom where all students can thrive
- Planning, marking and assessing in line with the national curriculum
- Supporting students of all abilities, including those with additional needs
- Contributing to the wider English department and school community
What the school is looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
