We’re working closely with a brilliant network of nurseries across South Bristol who are looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable nursery staff to join their teams. These settings are passionate about giving children the very best start in life, blending play, learning and care to help every child feel safe, confident and curious.

The Role:

  • Based in nurseries across South Bristol

  • Supporting children aged 0–5 with play-based learning and daily routines

  • Assisting with activities that support early development, confidence and social skills

  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment

  • Supporting behaviour positively and age-appropriately

  • Working closely with qualified practitioners and nursery teams

  • Following safeguarding policies at all times and reporting any concerns appropriately

About You:

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children

  • A caring, patient and positive personality

  • Confident getting involved in play, storytelling and creative activities

  • Reliable, flexible and happy to muck in as part of a team

  • Good communication skills with children and adults

  • Previous experience with children is ideal, this could be personal, voluntary, or professional
