The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you could work as a:
- Teaching Assistant
- Learning Support Assistant
- Behaviour Support Assistant
- Learning Mentor
- SEND Teaching Assistant
- SEMH Support Assistant
- Inclusion Support Assistant
You'll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
- Supporting students with SEND, Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH needs.
- Building positive relationships that improve student confidence and engagement.
- Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation.
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Working alongside teaching staff, SEND professionals and pastoral teams.
- Developing safeguarding, behaviour management and classroom management skills.
