What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available depending on experience
- Planning and delivering lessons that spark curiosity and build real understanding
- Creating a positive classroom culture where behaviour is well managed and expectations are clear
- Tracking progress and adapting teaching to support all learners, including those with additional needs
- Contributing to the wider Science department, sharing ideas and best practice
- Supporting students’ academic growth and confidence in a meaningful way
What the school is looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
- Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for education
