Protocol Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in welcoming Primary, Secondary, and Specialist SEND schools across Bristol. This is a full-time role with a September start, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on young people's learning and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement.
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other SEND.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have at least 6 months' experience working with children or young people in a school, SEND, care, youth work, or similar setting.
  • Are passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are patient, reliable, and adaptable.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply.
