Graduate SEND Learning Mentor – Gateshead

A specialist SEND school in Gateshead is looking for a motivated Graduate SEND Learning Mentor to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Teaching, Speech & Language Therapy, Child Psychology or Children's Mental Health.
Location: Gateshead
Pay: £92.63–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping pupils manage behaviour and emotional regulation
- Supporting communication and social development
- Delivering engaging learning and intervention activities
- Assisting teachers within the classroom
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Working closely with experienced SEND staff
