Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible supply basis across a range of nurseries, children's centres and early years settings throughout the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, term-time only, or year-round work, we can offer opportunities to fit around your availability while allowing you to gain experience in a variety of early years environments.
The Role
As a Supply Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Support children aged 0–5 years in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based activities
- Assist with observations and daily nursery routines
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff and families
- Support children with SEND where required
- Provide personal care, including toileting and feeding where necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, children's centre, or early years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
- Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable but not essential
- Experience using nursery systems such as Tapestry is beneficial
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
- A current Safeguarding certificate or willingness to complete training
- The right to work in the UK
