BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHER – LONG-TERM PLACEMENT

Location: Newcastle Area
Pay: £163 to £263 per day (depending on experience)

We’re working with a large, well-established secondary setting that’s looking for a Business specialist who can bring clarity, structure and enthusiasm to their KS4 and KS5 students. Business is a popular subject here and pupils genuinely enjoy making links to real-life scenarios, so you’ll be stepping into a role where curiosity is already high.

In this role, you’ll be:
• Teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 with strong schemes of work already in place
• Delivering clear explanations that help students understand complex concepts quickly
• Guiding exam groups through extended responses, essay structure and theory application
• Creating engaging lessons that use real-world examples to build confidence
• Working alongside an experienced department who believe in collaboration, shared planning and looking after each other
• Establishing secure routines that help pupils feel confident, safe and ready to learn
