If you’ve got experience or knowledge of supporting children with additional needs, this could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

We’re working closely with a welcoming primary setting in South Leeds that’s looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This is a long-term role offering structure, routine, and the chance to make a real difference to pupils who thrive with consistent support.

This school puts inclusion at the heart of everything they do. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, working alongside a knowledgeable SENCO and a team who genuinely value experienced support staff and the difference they make each day.

• Supporting pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning needs
• Working 1:1 and with small groups across Key Stage 2
• Helping pupils stay focused, regulated, and confident in their learning
• Building strong, trusting relationships and being a calm, consistent presence every day

Why this role stands out
• A full-time position in one school, offering routine and stability
• The chance to work closely with pupils who benefit from consistent support
• Opportunities to build on your SEN knowledge and experience
• A supportive team environment where your skills are recognised and valued

• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Confidence supporting pupils who may need extra emotional or behavioural support
• Someone fully available full-time, Monday to Friday

What you’ll get through Protocol Education
• Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella companies, no hidden surprises
• FREE access to our online CPD Academy, build your skills while you work
• Ongoing support from a dedicated local consultant who gets to know you
• A full-time placement, giving you consistency and the chance to really get to know the pupils

✨ Bonus: If you’re not already Thrive trained, we’ll enrol you for free. Thrive training is a brilliant addition to your SEN toolkit and helps you support pupils’ emotional wellbeing with confidence.
