We are working with a supportive specialist school in Ealing looking for caring, reliable and experienced SEN Support Assistants to join their team.
The Role
You will support children and young people with a range of SEND and complex needs, helping them access learning and develop their independence.
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs
- Assisting with communication, learning and social development
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Encouraging pupils to build independence and confidence
- Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
- Personal care may be required, depending on the pupil's needs
We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Experience within a school, specialist setting or care environment is desirable
- Patient, caring and proactive approach
- Confident supporting pupils with complex needs
- Must hold both Child & Adult DBS
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed to a long-term school role
