Protocol Education are recruiting Active Learning Support Assistants for specialist schools in the South Shields area.

This is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, getting involved and building relationships with young people through sport and shared interests.

The Role

Your day could include:

• Supporting pupils in lessons
• Assisting with PE
• Organising physical activities
• Working 1:1 and in small groups
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Helping pupils manage emotions
• Supporting break and lunchtime activities
• Building trust and positive relationships
• Encouraging teamwork and resilience
• Acting as a positive role model

Your Background

You don't need to have worked in a school before.

Driving Preferred

Immediate Start

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous.

If you don't currently have one, you will need to be able to apply for an Enhanced DBS immediately and complete all required safeguarding checks.
