Love working with teens but not keen on lesson planning? Step into the classroom as a Cover Supervisor.
We’re working with a group of friendly and well-organised secondary schools looking for confident, calm and capable Cover Supervisors to join their day-to-day and short-term cover team this September.
Whether you’re an aspiring teacher or just enjoy leading a class with a bit of structure and support, this is a brilliant way to build experience in schools without the pressure of full teaching responsibilities.
What’s the job?
- Delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Keeping students on task and managing classroom behaviour
- Supporting the wider teaching team with admin or prep tasks
- Acting as a positive and reliable presence in school life
What we’re looking for:
- Confidence leading a class (experience in schools, coaching, youth work or tutoring all counts!)
- Strong communication and behaviour management
- Flexibility, reliability and a good sense of humour
- A genuine interest in education and working with young people
