SEN Teaching Assistant – Darlington

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Supporting children with additional needs, e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH.
- Supporting children’s emotional regulation to ensure their own safety as well as those around them.
- Building positive relationships with pupils.
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities.
- Assisting with classroom management and organisation.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN.
- Calm, patient and consistent.
- A positive attitude and passion for supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
