The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable), creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students’ academic, personal, and social development. Schools in the area are seeking professionals who can motivate learners, maintain high expectations, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND.
- Contribute to departmental development and whole-school initiatives.
- Support students’ wellbeing, safeguarding, and personal development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated school team.
