We’re working with a friendly and welcoming primary school who are looking for a confident Year 5 teacher with a strong focus on maths to join their team on a maternity cover basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time ongoing role.
This position will start Thursdays and Fridays starting ASAP, moving into full-time from 16th March onwards, offering continuity, impact and a great chance to embed strong maths practice.

- Teaching Year 5, with a particular strength and focus on maths

- Delivering engaging, well-structured maths lessons that support progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistency across the year group

What we’re looking for
- A qualified primary teacher with strong maths subject knowledge
- Confidence teaching maths across Year 5 and KS2
- Experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- A positive, flexible approach, well suited to maternity cover that becomes ongoing
