You’ll be the steady, reassuring presence a pupil can rely on, helping them navigate their school day with confidence and comfort.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with autism

  • Using structured routines to help learners feel safe and settled

  • Supporting communication, sensory regulation, and emotional wellbeing

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEND team

  • Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them

  • Have experience supporting autistic children or young people

  • Bring patience, empathy, and a calming presence

  • Understand sensory needs and how to support them

  • Build trust through consistency and kindness

  • Are open to guidance from specialists and enjoy working as part of a team

  • Have Thrive or trauma-informed training, or would like to access our free training
