We’re looking for a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school that needs someone who can start straight away. You’ll be helping children with additional needs feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

What the role looks like

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, and social and emotional needs

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups depending on the day

  • Helping pupils regulate, engage, and access learning in ways that work for them

  • Building strong relationships with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team

  • Keeping routines predictable and creating a calm, encouraging environment

You’ll be great for this role if you

  • Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND

  • Are patient, consistent, and genuinely nurturing

  • Can adapt to different needs and use a range of supportive strategies

  • Communicate clearly and work well with others

  • Have Thrive or trauma-informed training, or would like to access our free training offer
