What You Will Be Doing
As a PMLD Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties throughout the school day.
- Assist students with communication, sensory learning activities, and personalised learning programmes.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to provide the highest standard of support.
- Support pupils with personal care and medical needs where required.
- Encourage independence, engagement, and participation in learning activities.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Use specialist resources and sensory approaches to enhance learning experiences.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.

- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
