We are recruiting Learning Partners to support pupils within a specialist resource base at a welcoming primary school in the Horfield area. The resource base supports children with communication and interaction needs, including autism, within an inclusive environment that values respect, independence, and positive relationships.
The role includes:
- Supporting pupils with SEND in both the resource base and mainstream classrooms
- Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions
- Encouraging communication, confidence, and social development
- Helping to create a calm, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and specialist staff
We're looking for people who:
- Have experience working with children or young people, whether in education, childcare, youth work, or care settings
- Are patient, reliable, and adaptable
- Have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
- Can commit to regular part-time hours during the school week
- Are keen to develop professionally within SEND education
Formal qualifications are not essential. Full training and ongoing support are provided.
