SEN Primary Teaching Assistant - LS4
Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are recruiting for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming primary school in LS4.
The Role
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other SEND requirements
- Encouraging pupil engagement and independence
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Implementing personalised support strategies and interventions
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Patient, nurturing and resilient approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt learning to individual needs
- Relevant SEND or Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable
