This full-time role offers competitive pay, with the salary paid to scale immediately, ranging between £140 and £240 per day depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Provide a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support students’ individual needs.
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
  • Encourage positive behavior and ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a special needs school.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A passion for supporting students with special educational needs and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to be patient, flexible, and empathetic while working with students.
  • Experience with a range of special needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities, is highly desirable.
