SEN Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth

Protocol Education is seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Wandsworth.
You will support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). The role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Assist teachers with planning and delivering lessons
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and record pupil progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN (in school or similar environment)
- Patient, proactive, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
