About the Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs
- Support students with a range of SEND including ASD, SEMH, SLD, and communication needs
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external agencies
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through a trauma-informed approach
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience working with pupils with SEND, either in mainstream or specialist settings
- Be passionate about inclusive education and raising achievement for all learners
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
