Looking to make a real difference, not just fill a role?
We’re working with a welcoming, community-driven primary setting with a dedicated resource base, supporting children with additional needs. They’re on the lookout for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant who can bring calm, consistency, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils who need that extra bit of care.
This is a role where relationships matter. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of needs, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to engage with learning.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Providing 1:1 support tailored to individual needs
-
Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
-
Working closely with class teachers and SEND staff
-
Helping create a structured, nurturing environment
-
Tracking progress and celebrating small wins (the ones that really count)
What they’re looking for:
-
Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a 1:1 or resource base setting
-
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
-
Someone who builds trust quickly and genuinely cares
-
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
If you’re someone who understands that progress isn’t always linear, but always meaningful, this could be a brilliant fit.
