The Role:
You’ll be supporting classes, ensuring learning in a calm and structured environment. Your presence will help students stay focused, regulated, and supported throughout the lesson.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting students to stay engaged and complete tasks

Managing behaviour with patience, consistency, and understanding

Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage participation

De-escalating challenging situations using calm and effective strategies

Maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment

Following safeguarding procedures at all times

Reporting any concerns through the school’s safeguarding systems
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands that connection comes before correction and who enjoys making a genuine difference in young people’s lives.
You might have experience in:

SEMH settings

Behaviour support roles
-
Youth work or mentoring
-
Care or support work with young people

Alternative provision or PRU environments
