Primary Teacher SEN

Location: Bristol
Job Type: Contract
Reference: 311034992
Salary: £140 - £168/day
Job Published: 24 June 2026

We're working with a fantastic SEND school in Bristol looking for caring, adaptable Primary Teachers who want to take their skills in a new direction.

You don't need years of specialist SEND experience. What matters is your ability to build relationships, think creatively, and see the potential in every child.

If you've ever found yourself most proud of helping a pupil gain confidence, overcome a challenge, or achieve something they never thought possible, this could be the role for you.

Why SEND?

Because every small breakthrough is a huge achievement.

Because learning isn't one-size-fits-all.

Because some of the most rewarding moments in education happen when a child finally feels understood.

This specialist setting supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. You'll be supported by an experienced team who genuinely want to help you succeed.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and personalised learning experiences
  • Adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
  • Working alongside therapists, support staff, and SEND specialists
  • Celebrating progress in all its forms, not just what's written in a data report

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching in a primary setting
  • Are patient, resilient, and positive
  • Have a genuine interest in SEND education
  • Enjoy finding creative ways to help children learn
  • Believe every child deserves the chance to thrive
  • Are open to learning new approaches and developing specialist skills

What's in it for you?

Alongside a role where you'll make a real difference every day, you'll gain valuable SEND experience and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Many teachers tell us that moving into SEND reignited their love for education. Less focus on ticking boxes, more focus on changing lives.
