We are looking for an enthusiastic SLD Teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of SEND learners. SEND experience isn’t essential — just a willingness to learn and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons that meet individual needs.
• Develop, review and implement EHCPs with SMART outcomes.
• Track and use assessment information (including Evidence for Learning, Phonics and Flight Paths).
• Lead and support a team of teaching assistants.
• Adapt learning and use appropriate resources/technology.
• Work closely with parents, carers and outside professionals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and plan educational visits.
What We’re Looking For:
• QTS (SEND experience not required).
• Strong communication, organisation, empathy and creativity.
• Ability to work well with and lead others.
The governing body is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All posts require an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance, satisfactory references and a 6-month probationary period.
