Protocol Education is recruiting a Psychology Graduate to provide 1:1 support to a pupil in a Gateshead school.
You'll gain hands-on experience while helping a young person become more confident, independent and engaged in their education.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Supporting the pupil throughout the school day
- Helping them access lessons and activities
- Encouraging communication
- Supporting emotional regulation
- Developing positive behaviours
- Building a trusting relationship
- Helping them become more independent
- Adapting support when something isn't working
- Working closely with teachers and support staff
