The role
You’ll be supporting pupils within the specialist resource base, working closely with teachers and the wider team to help children access learning in a way that works for them.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping pupils engage with learning through adapted and personalised approaches
- Using strategies to support communication, including working with non-verbal learners
- Encouraging social interaction, independence, and confidence
- Contributing to a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals

- Role: Learning Support Assistant, Specialist Resource Base
- Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks)
- Pay: From £14.30 per hour, PAYE
