Secondary schools across Sunderland are recruiting a Teacher (Non-QTS) to support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. This Teacher (Non-QTS) role is suitable for individuals with strong subject knowledge who are seeking classroom teaching experience without holding Qualified Teacher Status.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering lessons using provided lesson plans or curriculum guidance
- Supporting pupil progress and participation in lessons
- Applying school behaviour and safeguarding policies consistently
- Working collaboratively with department staff and senior leaders
Requirements:
- Strong subject knowledge relevant to the secondary curriculum
- Experience working with young people is preferred but not essential
