We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a fantastic early years setting in Tower Hamlets.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner who wants to be part of a nurturing team and play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and learning experiences for young children, helping them develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically in line with the EYFS framework.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
- Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
- Observing, assessing and recording children's progress.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Encouraging children's independence, confidence and social development.
- Supporting children's individual needs and interests.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
- Working effectively as part of a dedicated early years team.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be:
- Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare.
- Passionate about early years education and child development.
- Warm, caring and nurturing in their approach.
- Confident supporting children's learning through play.
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Reliable, professional and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Ideally experienced within a nursery, preschool, school or similar early years environment.
