SEN Teacher – Swindon & Wiltshire

Protocol Education is looking for experienced SEN Teachers to support pupils across specialist schools and SEND provisions in Swindon and Wiltshire.
The Role
- Teach and support pupils with a range of SEN/SEND needs.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils working towards EHCP targets.
- Promote communication, independence and emotional development.
- Manage behaviour using positive and consistent strategies.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff and other professionals.
- Create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- UK QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching in a SEN/SEND setting is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH, MLD or complex needs is advantageous.
- Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.
- Patient, adaptable and committed approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.
