Just finished uni and not quite sure what’s next? If you’re curious about a career in education, becoming a Teaching Assistant is a brilliant way to test the waters, gain hands-on classroom experience, and build a CV full of transferable skills.
We work with primary schools across South Yorkshire looking for enthusiastic, people-focused grads to support their pupils—academically, emotionally, and socially. Think of it as the first step into something bigger.
What you’ll be doing:
🧠 Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
📚 Helping deliver engaging lessons and classroom activities
📝 Getting stuck into planning and resource prep
💬 Giving feedback to teachers (and sometimes parents)
🌱 Aiding children with SEND and helping boost confidence and routine
🎨 Taking part in extracurriculars—from clubs to revision sessions
What we’re looking for:
