What the role looks like

Supporting a pupil with autism on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day

Helping them understand routines, transitions, and expectations

Using visual aids, sensory strategies, and clear communication

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and therapists

Creating a predictable, reassuring environment where the pupil can thrive
